National Day of Mourning
Sent on behalf of June Rogers, Executive Director, Provincial and Demonstration Schools Branch
April 28th is the National Day of Mourning and every year on this date we are encouraged to remember the thousands of workers who have been killed, injured or suffered illness as a result of work-related incidents. It is also a time to think of the families and friends who have been affected by these tragedies.
The Provincial and Demonstration Schools Branch will recognize the National Day of Mourning by lowering the flags to half-mast at all five campuses to honour the people impacted by these incidents.
