Former students and teachers from across Canada will be returning to W. Ross Macdonald School in Brantford at the end of May to mark a major milestone.

With the provincially run school for the blind and deafblind is celebrating its 150th anniversary, a lot of people are looking forward to a party that will take place over several days, principal Dan Maggiacomo said.

“This school has a rich history and over the years we’ve had people from across the country attend here,” Maggiacomo said. “We had a 100th anniversary (party) and another when the school celebrated 125 years of education.

“We’re hitting another major milestone and people are really excited about coming back for a visit.”
