Superintendent’s Message

Our team is pleased to offer an informative website to raise awareness of our campus and promote communication between the various stakeholders in our community.

W. Ross MacDonald School (WRMS) is a well-established institution in the community, which has built its reputation on academic excellence and commitment to engagement in its community. At WRMS, all students have a sense of belonging. Our goal to reach every student and our mission statement underscores our commitment to provide all the necessary resources to ensure the success of all of our students. We have various programs that aim to develop aspirations and abilities of the students at all levels.

The Resource Services for District School Boards is also housed at WRMS. The consultants provide various supports and assessments to students who are blind, low vision, visually impaired or require pre-braille literacy services.

The Resource Services Library which provides Braille and alternate print formats for students across Ontario is also located at WRMS.

Our core values, respect, cooperation, determination and passion are present in our relationships at the school as well as with the community. We offer leadership opportunities through a team of dedicated experts who are committed to the success of each of our students.
