On October 27, 2023, students, staff and alumni celebrated Sir James Whitney School's 153rd birthday and the main school building's 100th year!

The festivities included an assembly, a presentation outside showing where the old building stood compared to the current one, and cupcakes and a souvenir.

The souvenir is a wood scrap from the 1923 auditorium window frame.
